My stay at the Kimpton Aertson Hotel had its ups and downs. While I enjoyed the warm welcome from the valet staff, my overall experience was tainted by an unsettling incident with a front desk employee, which I found incredibly unprofessional. Despite these issues, the hotel’s artistic decor and central location were definitely highlights.
Rooms
6.0
The room was comfortable, albeit small, and the bathroom features were modern and clean. However, the lack of housekeeping during my stay was disappointing.
Service
5.0
I experienced a very mixed level of service. While some staff members like Sherod at valet were incredibly helpful, an encounter with an aggressive front desk employee overshadowed this positivity.
Location
9.0
The hotel's central location was perfect, with many eateries and shopping options within walking distance, making it easy to explore Nashville.
Dining
5.0
I found the dining options at the hotel just okay, particularly the restaurant's food quality, which left much to be desired besides a couple of standout dishes.
Facilities

The rooftop pool was a great spot to relax, and the overall cleanliness of the public areas was commendable, though some amenities could improve, like room service.

I had a good stay at Kimpton Aertson Hotel. The atmosphere was inviting and vibrant, especially with the fantastic live music during brunch at The Henley. While I enjoyed the stunning pool and great location near all the downtown activities, there were a few minor maintenance issues in my room that needed attention. Overall, I'd gladly recommend this place for its charm and convenience.
Rooms

The room was beautifully designed and very clean, with a comfortable bed that felt like sleeping on a cloud. However, there were a few minor hiccups like a broken clock and a small cracked mirror that needed replacing.
Service

The staff was genuinely friendly and attentive throughout my stay, providing excellent recommendations for local dining. I appreciated their quick responses to any issues, but there was one small oversight with a request I made for my last night.
Location

The hotel's location was fantastic, just a short walk to vibrant nightlife and major tourist spots. Despite some construction in the area, I didn’t hear any noise in my room.

I loved brunch at The Henley, where the food was fantastic and the atmosphere warm with live music. The convenience of great dining on-site made my stay even better.
Facilities

The pool area was pristine and beautifully designed, though it wasn't open for swimming during my visit. The gym was a bit small and not very brightly lit, but the overall amenities were good.

My stay at the Kimpton Aertson Hotel had its ups and downs. The rooftop pool was a perfect getaway, and I enjoyed mingling during the evening social hour. However, my room wasn’t serviced properly for most of my stay, which was disappointing. Additionally, my experience at the on-site restaurant didn't quite meet my expectations. Overall, there are some great features here, but some aspects definitely need improvement. 🌟🛁
Rooms

The room was spacious, and while I appreciated the cozy bed, housekeeping fell short as my room wasn't serviced frequently. The location was quiet, and I enjoyed the dark ambiance for a good night's sleep, though the poorly functioning door added some annoyance.
Service

Staff members were friendly and welcoming during my check-in and throughout my stay. However, there were issues with housekeeping; they didn’t respond to my request for room service and seemed disorganized with the regular cleaning schedule.
Location

The hotel is conveniently located near downtown Nashville, with easy access to various bars and restaurants. This made exploring the area quite enjoyable and accessible.
Dining

Dining at The Henley was a mixed experience. While the ambiance was classy and the 615 chicken was great, the other dishes I tried fell flat, lacking flavors and proper execution.
Facilities

The rooftop pool area was lovely, clean, and relaxing. I appreciated the complimentary social hour and the availability of a fitness center. However, I faced some issues with the Wi-Fi connectivity, which was frustrating during my stay.

I had a mixed experience during my stay at the Kimpton Aertson Hotel. While the friendly staff and clean facilities stood out, I encountered issues with room availability and service consistency. The dining experience left much to be desired, despite the attractive atmosphere of the restaurant.
Rooms
6.0
The room I booked was not available, and I ended up with a smaller king room that lacked amenities. There was even a strange smell emanating from the bathroom that was concerning. For the price I paid, I expected more comfort and luxury.
Service
5.0
While I appreciated the warm attitude of most of the staff, I did experience unprofessional behavior from a front desk associate that was quite alarming. The response to my concerns, however, was swift from the female staff member who apologized and assured action would be taken.
Location

The hotel is conveniently located near various bars and restaurants, making it easy to explore downtown Nashville. This aspect truly enhanced my overall experience despite the other drawbacks.
Dining

Dining at The Henley was underwhelming. While the ambiance was classy, most of the food we tried was disappointing. The only dish I enjoyed was the 615 chicken, but the rest, such as the brisket sliders and wings, lacked quality.

I had mixed feelings about my stay at Kimpton Aertson Hotel. While I loved the artistry and modern vibe of the hotel, my room lacked some comfort and was smaller than I expected. The rooftop pool was a highlight, and the complimentary evening social hour was a nice touch, but I encountered a few service hiccups that dampened my overall experience.
Rooms
6.0
The room was smaller than anticipated and not as comfortable. I appreciated the bathroom's modern design but was let down by the sliding glass door that didn't stay shut. The amenities were decent, yet I wished for better comfort overall.
Service
6.0
The staff was generally friendly and responsive, which I appreciated. However, I encountered issues with my room not being cleaned adequately during my stay, and the response to my requests was sometimes delayed. The experience felt a bit inconsistent.
Location
6.0
Although not far from downtown, I found the location somewhat removed from the main tourist attractions, which made it less convenient for sightseeing. The area felt safe, and there were good restaurants nearby, but it required a bit of walking to reach the more popular spots.
Dining
7.0
I enjoyed breakfast at The Henley, as the food was flavorful and satisfying. I also appreciated the complimentary cocktails during the social hour, which provided a nice opportunity to unwind. However, I found the breakfast menu a bit limited and overpriced compared to nearby options.
Facilities
7.0
The rooftop pool area was one of the highlights of my stay, providing a great atmosphere for relaxation. The fitness center, while small, offered a solid workout experience, but I would have preferred more variety in equipment. I also found it odd that I had to ask for ice-cold water at the front desk.
